Pawsitive Match

For rescue groups

Spend volunteer hours on the right people.

Pawsitive Match profiles your dogs the way foster carers actually describe them, then matches them to adopters whose lifestyles fit. Every enquiry arrives pre-screened, with the adopter's answers and a match score attached.

Why rescues join

The 40-minute screening call, mostly gone

In our prototype testing, 80% of rescue volunteers rated the profile builder “much faster” than their current process, and they estimated a 10% drop in returns would free up 15 to 20 volunteer hours a week.

Today

  • Enquiries that only say "Is she still available?"
  • Long phone screens to discover basic mismatches
  • Returns when energy or kids weren't discussed
  • Dog history scattered across spreadsheets and Facebook

With Pawsitive Match

  • Enquiries arrive with lifestyle answers and a match score
  • Safety clashes (kids, cats, dogs) are filtered before they reach you
  • Adopters see realistic yearly costs before they apply
  • Every dog's record kept permanently, adopted or not

Guided profile builder

Rescue questions

Straight answers

Do paid plans rank our dogs higher?+

No. Match results are ranked purely on how well each dog fits the adopter's answers. No plan, payment or partnership changes that. Paid plans add capacity, analytics and team tools, never visibility.

How long does a listing take?+

About five minutes once you know the dog. The form walks you through energy, experience needed, time alone, kids, cats, other dogs, health checks and the dog's story.

Who owns our data?+

You do. Your dog profiles and enquiries are yours. We never sell rescue or adopter data. Adopted dogs are never deleted, so your records stay complete.

Will this replace PetRescue?+

No, and it doesn't need to. Many rescues list in several places. Pawsitive Match adds the behavioural matching layer and sends you better-informed enquiries.

What about QLD supply numbers?+

Every listing has a field for your supply number or rehoming organisation ID, and it's shown on the public profile as state law requires.
