The people who know these dogs best
Every dog on Pawsitive Match is listed by a rescue group and profiled by the foster carers who live with them. Most are small, volunteer-run and stretched thin. Enquiring thoughtfully is the kindest thing you can do for them.
Coastline Canine Rescue
Burleigh Heads, QLD
A foster-based rescue on the southern Gold Coast. Every dog lives in a volunteer home before adoption, so carers know their quirks, their favourite walks and exactly how they behave when the doorbell rings.
Hinterland Hounds
Maleny, QLD
Sighthound specialists on the Sunshine Coast hinterland. Retired racers, whippets and lurchers learning that couches are allowed. Small team, big hearts, very good at explaining why greyhounds are secretly lazy.
Riverbend Dog Rescue
Lismore, NSW
Northern Rivers rescue taking in pound dogs, flood-displaced pets and the occasional working dog who failed at working. Happy to adopt across the border into South East Queensland.
